Romantic Lake Camp

The Lake Camp is one of the only floating luxury tented camps you will find anywhere on this planet. As little as 20 tents guarantee a superb degree of intimacy. All tents are floating on Cheow Larn Lake, one of Thailand’s most stunning jungle lakes: Lukewarm waters, towering limestone cliffs and the world’s oldest rainforest all make for a honeymoon experience setting that could not have been chosen better by a Hollywood script writer.

Cozy Comfort

Of course you will not rough it during your life’s most special vacation: All tents are fully equipped with wooden floors, en-suite bathrooms, electricity for reading lights and the little fan, furniture created by our own skilled craftsmen as well as a super comfortable, king-sized bed, topped with a Sweet Dreams mattress topper. You will not want to leave.

Intimate Togetherness

There is no road connection leading to The Lake Camp. Transfers in and out are possible by local long tail boat only. There is no WiFi out here, either. Actually, there is not even a phone signal reaching our luxury tented camp on the North-Eastern shores of Cheow Larn Lake! In other words: There is absolutely nothing to distract you from spending the most memorable quality time with your spouse.

A Humdrum Honeymoon Experience?

It never gets boring at The Lake Camp. Relax in the deck chair in front of your tent, reading a book, taking in the marvelous surroundings, or engaging with your loved one in one of these never-ending conversations that at home you never find the time to while staring into the stars. Dive off into the lukewarm waters of Cheow Larn Lake. Try on the beerhosen (slip a lifejacket on, but as a pants(!) – this way you can sit in the water while sipping a beer. Life doesn’t get much better than this…). Untie your tent’s private canoe end explore the mesmerizing channels of Cheow Larn Lake. Go jungle trekking with our experienced tour guides. Grab a pair of binoculars and try to identify the myriads of birds and butterflies around you. Build a jenga tower, and watch it tumble down after an intense competition. Dig into the delicious Thai-style buffets. Watch spectacled langurs frolic behind the camp in the trees. Listen to the whooping territorial calls of the white-handed gibbons brachiating from branch to branch. Marvel at the majestic Great Hornbills flapping their enormous wings overhead.

The one thing you cannot do out here is get bored!
